POLICIES
NON-DISCRIMINATION POLICY: Learn 2 Center admits everyone regardless of age, race, religion, sex or sexual orientation, nationality or ethnicity. There are no prior educational requirements and no documents are needed to register.
AGE REQUIREMENTS: We are a public program designed primarily for adults, however, individuals under 16 years of age may attend some classes if accompanied by an adult who is enrolled in the same class (does not apply to adult-oriented classes- must be 18 yrs old). Permission of instructor is required. Please call for details prior to registering.
*Note: Any kid-specific courses (under 16 years of age) will be listed under the “KIDS Only” section- parents are always welcome to attend kid-specific courses. Details can be found under class descriptions.
ADMISSION POLICY: As a private educational institution we reserve the right to deny admission to any student or remove students from any course.
GRADING POLICY: L2C does not provide grades or continuing education credit for its classes. We provide an optional (for purchase- $5.00) Certificate of Completion for each student completing class and an online evaluation for student feedback.
CANCELLATIONS: If WE, Learn 2 Center, cancel for any reason (weather, low enrollment, no instructor), you are entitled to a FULL refund unless you paid with a course credit, then you will receive a course credit in return (valid for twelve (12) months).
If YOU cancel, you MUST notify us 48 hrs prior to the class session. A refund is NOT issued when a student cancels, however, a credit voucher in the amount of the course fee (less a $10 cancellation fee) will be kept on file and may be applied towards any Learn 2 Center class for a period of twelve (12) months.
TRANSFERS: If YOU would like to transfer to another class or section, you MUST notify us 48 hrs prior to the class session. There is a $10 transfer fee per person, per class- payable as cash, charge or check. You are not enrolled in a new class/section until payment is received.
REFUNDS: If you are completely dissatisfied with the instruction during the first class, please follow these guidelines for a full refund. Failure to follow these guidelines voids the right to a refund.
1) For one-day classes, inform the instructor of your decision to drop the class and obtain the instructor’s signature on your confirmation form/receipt within the first hour. 2) For a class meeting more than once, inform the instructor of your decision to drop the class by the end of the first meeting and obtain the instructor’s signature on your confirmation form/receipt. 3) Call L2C the next business day. 4) L2C must receive the signed confirmation form 7 days after the first class meeting.
Refunds will be issued in the method by which you paid; charges to a credit card will be credited to the cardholder; check and cash payment will be refunded by check. A $10 service charge per person will be deducted to cover overhead. If you wish, you may receive a credit voucher for the full amount (no service charge).
RETURNED CHECKS: There is a $25 service charge.
CHANGES: L2C reserves the right to change class locations, dates, fees, class sizes, and instructors.
LIABILITIES: Here at Learn 2 Center, LLC we take great care in selecting our instructors. We make no guarantees, expressed or implied, that classroom instruction will result in a specific gain. We cannot be held responsible for any loss, material or otherwise, incurred while following an instructor’s directions. The Learn 2 Center is not responsible for any personal property left in our buildings. Students take courses at their own risk. Neither the Learn 2 Center nor any of its employees or instructors is liable for any injury you may sustain from attending a class.
